CEO of Columbus Capital Corporation, Brendan was also the founder and CEO of Columbus Communications Inc., which provided advanced telecom services to 42 countries in the Caribbean and Latin America under the brands FLOW and Columbus Networks. Brendan joined the board of Cable & Wireless Communications PLC when it acquired Columbus, and then the board of Liberty Latin America when it in turn acquired Cable & Wireless/Columbus.

Prior to founding Columbus in 2005, Brendan was President and CEO of Persona Communications, Canada’s largest rural cable operator and the controlling shareholder of Cable Bahamas Ltd., where Brendan also served as CEO from 2001–10.

He serves on the boards of MDA Space, Bahamas Telecommunications Corp., Sequence Bio, and Cormorant Utility Services.

An active community supporter, he co-founded the A Dollar A Day Foundation, a grassroots organization focused on supporting proven programs on the front lines of mental health and addictions in Canada, and sits on the board of Team Broken Earth, which has completed more than 75 medical relief missions to Haiti, Nepal, Bangladesh, Nicaragua, and Guatemala.

Brendan holds a B. Comm and MBA from Memorial University and is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard.
