Rich brought his 20+ years of experience as an investor, capital markets professional, and entrepreneur to us in mid-2019, and is a member of our Advisory Board.
He’s a Partner with Penfund, a leading provider of junior capital to middle market companies throughout North America. Founded in 1979 and acquired by its current management team in 2000, Penfund manages assets and capital in excess of CDN$1.5 billion.
Prior to joining Penfund, Rich worked in the investment banking group at Scotia Capital, where he focused on private and public corporate clients across a variety of industries. Before joining Scotia Capital, Rich co-founded a successful retail and distribution business.
Rich holds an MBA from Harvard University and served on the Board of Governors of The Bishop Strachan School.
