Clariti Strategic Advisors™ (“Clariti”) are pleased to announce that Mr. Scott Humphrey is joining us as a Senior Advisor effective September 1, 2019. Scott is based in Chicago and serves as our cross-border liaison for corporate and private equity clients.
Scott spent almost 20 years on Wall Street and now focuses on corporate board and strategic work with both mature and start-up companies. From 2007 to 2014, Scott was the Head of U.S. M&A for BMO Capital Markets, where, in addition to running the business, he led a strategic re-focusing initiative to better align efforts with client needs, and recruited, trained and retained more than sixty professionals to focus on client experience. During his tenure with BMO Capital Markets, Scott helped to grow the M&A group’s revenues 13% compounded annually, including through the Global Financial Crisis.
In 2012, Scott was asked to expand his responsibilities to include the Head of U.S. Industrial Investment Banking, where he helped drive focus around high priority client accounts and grew group revenue 25% compounded annually. He was the only executive at the firm to simultaneously run a product and an industry group with more than fifty direct senior executive reports and ~$140m of annual revenue.
